Hola! (hello) First, forgive my language, because I do not speak English. I use the translator. I came to your story on Facebook since this subject interested me a lot. I believe that the Hercule-Virgine saga has infinite possibilities to write good fics, and you could take advantage of them beautifully I was fascinated by the first chapters. I read fan fiction of my favorite characters for 16 years. I enjoy it very much and I have a high respect for writers. My favorite books are The Lord of the Rings, Sherlock Holmes, Jules Verne and ALL Poirot!
Your story is wonderful, its beginning shows the characters as real people, their intimate feelings, their fears and hopes. I felt sorry when I get to chapter 3. I hope (I say with great respect) that you can continue very soon. I know that in the end there some sadness, because maybe you want to connect your story to the episode of the TV series (it will be that way?), but also … I want to read much more!!!
It may surprise you to know that I met Suche’s Poirot just last year, when Kennet Branagh’s movie brought me back to the World-Poirot. When I saw the version of Murder in the Orient Express of 2010 my mind took a turn … everything they said with admiration about that series was absolutely true… and much more. Never before have I seen an actor become the character so wonderfully.
